Acceptable Documents
New Service – Deposit Waivers:
- If you are over 65 and requesting a Deposit Waiver you do not need to submit any additional documents. Your ID verification will serve as your Deposit Waiver.
- For all other Deposit Waivers we accept:
- 1) A Letter of Credit from a previous supplier
- 2) Your twelve most-recent electricity billing statements from your previous energy provider
- 3) A Victim of Domestic Violence form issued by your utility
Termination of Service – Early Termination Fee (“ETF”) Waiver:
IF YOU ARE TERMINATING SERVICE YOU MUST CONTACT OUR CUSTOMER CARE TEAM BEFORE SUBMITTING ANY DOCUMENTS.
Acceptable proof-of–move-out documents include – New lease agreement, proof-of-sale documents, proof-of-purchase documents, employment job offer. Be sure that any documents submitted include the 1. New Service Address and 2. Name of the Primary Account Holder.
How to Upload Your Documents
Follow these simple steps to upload your documents:
- Prepare Your Documents: Ensure that all documents are clear and legible. We accept files in JPEG and PDF formats. Each document must not exceed the file size limit as specified on the upload form.
- Fill Out the Form: Please provide your Name, Email Address, and Phone Number as registered in our records. This information helps us to accurately associate your uploaded documents with your account.
- Select Your Documents: You can upload up to 15 files at a time. Please check that each document is in the correct format and clearly labelled for quick processing.
- Submit Your Documents: Once you have selected all your documents and filled out the necessary information, click the ‘Upload’ button to submit them securely.
Important Notes:
- Document Formats: Only JPEG and PDF files are accepted. Please ensure your documents are saved in one of these formats before uploading.
- File Size: Ensure each file does not exceed the maximum allowed file size as indicated on the upload form.
All documents will be reviewed and it will be at the sole discretion of Ranchero Power to determine the eligibility of the document(s) submitted and we may request follow-up for additional documents before completing any request. You understand it is not the responsibility of Ranchero Power for delayed requested service-start dates or denial for the removal of Early Termination Fees if the documents submitted are missing, delayed, inaccurate, or otherwise not in an acceptable format needed to complete the request.
Documents submitted Monday-Friday before 2pm CST will be typically processed the same day. Submissions outside these hours, weekends, and holidays are reviewed the next business day.
